Making a Difference Awards

Nominations closed on Friday 25, August – thanks to everyone who nominated!

The recognition awards highlight individuals across different sectors in insurance who have gone above and beyond to display exemplary professionalism in their workplace, and with their customers.

Throughout 2023, each award will recognise one individual across the broking, claims, general insurance, life insurance, reinsurance and underwriting sectors. 

These awards recognise an individual who has demonstrated outstanding professionalism, commitment, achievement and passion in the insurance industry between 2022 and the closing date of the submission. 

By celebrating the things we do well, we can continue to raise the profile of insurance in the community. We encourage insurance professionals to enter by either self-nominating or nominating a colleague or peer who has demonstrated outstanding professionalism, commitment, achievement and passion in the insurance industry.

2023 Award categories

You may nominate a colleague/peer or self-nominate. 

Your challenge will be to record a short, compelling video entry based on evidence that convinces the judging panel that you or the nominated individual made a lasting difference second to none. Entries are open to all regions. 

All winners will receive a prize valued at $500 AUD, a profile on the ANZIIF Professional Development section of ANZIIF website, a digital badge verifiying the award, as well as recognition and exposure within the industry.
